I bought the black edition for this very reason and for the matte "rubberized" sides. If it is costs that much then why just not skimp on the whole blingy stuff its a mouse when when its in your hands you dont look at it.
And when I can getto mod this mouse with a pair of springs and some glue why cant razer? The scroll wheel should not be that much of a problem too. The casing ensures it stays fixed but it adds loads of durabilty to support it on both sides. Not just the side buttons but the scroll wheel too, the rod that holds the wheel is only fixed in to place at one side why?. I absolutly love the whole mouse but the internal design is really bad at some points. This paragraph is just some whining from me you can stop reading here if you want: My question does anyone know if they have changed this mechanic in the 2013 edition or is it still the same? It even feels better then the other button -_. I decided to fix it with some pencil springs and it worked out better then expected. It broke out of fatique(not my fault at all). It was a thin piece of plastic attached to the case. But looking at the mechanism that is supposed to be the spring for the side-button horrified me. And I decided id fix it myself (I had warranty but dont care using it). Recently one of the side buttons of my deathadder 3.5g broke. I guess i gonna give it a try for a week or so and decide if i go for RMA because of the right click or even refund because of the sensorĪ thread on stirred up some drama and made it into some popular websites. cable seems to be the same as the former DAs this mouse should have called black edition because its really black, a lot darker than the 3.5G DA and Black Edition right mouse button: WAY too easy to activate, activated by accident already few times, propably i am unlucky and its not a general problem because all other buttonsĪre easy to click but very tactile at the same time needed hours with this one to aim quiet secure. i swap around a lot, and normally i need 10 minutesĪnd im into a mouse. I need to add that i switch my mice quiet often coming from IE 3.0, Zowie EC1, Logitech MX518 and G400. but it isn't a kind of lag like on the Taipan, it just doesn't go where i want to aim at. I tried with synapse 2.0 running and without. I tried severall dpi steps (400, 800 thats one of the predefined, 1800 also one of the 5 keysteps) but i don't get the feeling of accuracy like on my other mice.ĭon't know if there is some kind of interpolation or whatever, but for me personally (at the moment) its a backstep in comparison to the 3.5G DA. sensor: i don't know what they build into the sensor, but i needed very long to get used to it. + Lift Off Distance is low compared to the 3.5G DA + mouseskates very nice also, very smooth glide on steelseries qck & 9hd better than stock ones of 3.5G DA + surface on top and bottom very nice, good build-quality, seems solid overall
+ scroll-wheel very good, don't know if better 3.5G DA or not, i personally like it + switches (main, side and wheel) are great, better than 3.5G DA (only my right mousebutton sucks, see below cons) + rubbergrip on the side is amazing, very good control, better than 3.5G DA My experience with DA2013 after 750 cs 1.6 deathmatch frags and 750 cs go deathmatch frags this afternoon:
